Before going into the Ezedit module to change your banner there are four things you need to do FIRST.
1. Save the image that you are going to use for your banner in a folder somewhere on your computer.
2. The name of the folder CANNOT have special characters or spaces in it.
3. The image MUST be a jpeg or a gif.
4. The name of the image CANNOT have special characters or spaces in it.
Some examples of special characters are %, &, _, -, ( ), ?, !, < >, *, etc...
These CANNOT be in the name of the folder of the image.
If they are the banner will NOT show up on your website.

To change your banner go to Image Gallery in the ezedit console.
Now click '+add gallery'.

1. Fill in the 'Gallery Name'
2. In 'Gallery Folder' put the name of the folder where you saved the image for your banner (THE FOLDER NAME AND THE IMAGE NAME CANNOT HAVE SPECIAL CHARACTERS OR SPACES!!!)
3. Change the 'End Date' ( Ex: change the date from 1/1/2010 to 1/1/2060 )
4. Click on 'create gallery & add images'

1. Click browse and select the image that you will use for your banner
2. Hit Upload
3. When it is uploaded, select the section of the URL beginning with ''/moduleUploads'' and everything that follows after it, as shown below
4. Copy this by right-clicking on the selected words and click copy

1. Go to the Style module
2. In 'banner image' highlight all the words in the blank; then hit backspace to remove everything
3. Now click in the open space, right-click and select paste
4. Go to the end of what you have just pasted ( If there is an extra space after the end of the words delete that before proceeding )
5. Add a forward slash, then the name of the image of the banner followed by either .jpg or .gif depending on which image type your banner is.
6. Below 'banner image' is the banner's width and height, change these to same width and heighth of your banner's image
7. Click submit
8. Go to your website homepage and check that the banner is showing up properly

![]() 1. If the banner is not showing up properly you will need to try this again.
2. First you must rename the folder where your image is saved.
3. You will need to create a new Image Gallery and repeat the process with a different folder name.
4. Doublecheck that the folder's name and the image's name does not contain any special characters or spaces in it.
