Before creating the photo gallery there are some things you should do.
The image names CANNOT have special characters or spaces in them. Examples of special characters are %, ( ), <>, ?, !, -, _, *, @, etc... If they do they won't show up in the photo gallery.
The images must be saved in a folder on your computer and the folder name CANNOT have special characters or spaces in it.
The photos must not be larger than 1024x768 or they will not work. 1024x768 is the recommended size for the photos, this is the size where the photos will look the best. For this reason landscape pictures are preferred over portrait pictures.
To setup a Photo Gallery go to the Flash Gallery module. Click on 'add flash gallery'.
1. Fill in the Title
2. In Folder Name put the name of the folder where the images are saved
3. Change the End Date (Example: from 1/1/2010 to 1/1/2060)
4. Click submit
1. Click browse
2. Select the pictures you want in this photo gallery
3. Click Upload
You may add Titles, or Captions to your pictures. When you have finished click 'update'.
You view your photo galleries on the Photo Gallery page. To go to the Photo gallery page you need to create a navigation item for Photo Galleries. Click here to see how to create a navigation image. The link to the Photo Gallery page is /photogallery.asp.
